Ford & Slater Achieves ISO Quality Standard

The Ford & Slater group of 10 dealerships achieved ISO9001 accreditation in December 2011 covering all aspects of the range of services we offer including new and used truck sales, service, parts and bodyshop.
Nigel Strevens, Joint Managing Director, commented; “Ford & Slater is one of the largest DAF dealership groups in the UK and we frequently become involved in providing customers with complex engineering solutions to their transport needs.
The ISO9001 accreditation process was highly demanding and it took 18 months for us to implement the necessary quality processes across the entire group thereby demonstrating to TUV Nord (the preferred ISO accreditation provider to DAF Trucks) that our quality management system is seeking to continually improve the quality of service we are providing to our customers. Customers have benefited from the ISO process which has focused upon improving parts availability and eliminating errors from truck repairs across the entire group.”
ISO9001:2008 in an international quality standard that is subject to annual independent inspection.
