Three Ford & Slater technicians have been recognised in the top five at the DAF UK Technician of the Year 2018 event.
DAF technicians from across the UK dealer network are invited to compete for the coveted position of DAF UK Technician of the Year – an honour introduced by DAF Trucks worldwide to reward those hard-working people who contribute to maintaining DAF Trucks’ position as market leader.
Out of the eight successful applicants who made it to the final of the competition at DAF’s HQ in Thame, three were Ford & Slater technicians. All three put in a fantastic display with all of them ranked in the top five:
We are incredibly proud to have three fantastic Master Technicians representing Ford & Slater at this year’s awards celebration, which is a deserved recognition for their continued hard work and dedication.
Huge congratulations go to Matt, Lee and Tony, who did Ford & Slater extremely proud, and also a big well done this year’s DAF UK Technician of the Year, Adam Baker from Chassis Cab, who will go on to represent the UK at the DAF European Technician of the Year competition in Eindhoven.
