Ford & Slater’s Group Parts General Manager, Matt Archer, has won the Special Recognition Award at the DAF Parts UK Conference 2022.

DAF held the 2022 Parts Conference at the National Space Centre in Leicester, with the theme of the conference being ‘A Whole New World.’ It has been just over four years since the last Parts Conference and there was a lot to celebrate within the parts team!

The Conference concluded with an awards presentation, acknowledging exceptional performance within the DAF family.

Matt Archer was the winner of the Special Recognition Award. This award is given to an individual within the Parts team who has gone the extra mile, above and beyond, not only for their own dealer but also working with DAF and the whole network.

Explaining Matt’s win, DAF Parts UK said: “The way Matt leads and motivates the team, is exceptional as an onlooker. Matt is flexible and realistic at the same time and always contributes to growth ideas and projects we release to the benefit of both Parts and the dealership.

Customers and service levels sit at the heart of all he does, and he really does do a fantastic job. He comes with great industry knowledge, brings different ideas and a great mindset supporting fleet and retail customers, and completely understands the size and scope of the TRP opportunity and contributes well to the Parts Panel and TRP focus groups.”
